The four of wands comes to us today to remind us to play and have fun. We have worked hard to get where we are but we forget to take time for ourselves and our own personal enjoyment. We need to celebrate, we need to get excited once and a while for being alive! Today is the day to do that! woohoo! Maybe some of us are attending a wedding, or a birthday party, possibly even a ceremony around a baby! Today's Card Of The Day is: Death

Today's card is Death, this is one of the most scary and ominous cards in the deck if you are not educated on the tarot.  I personally view this card as change, after yesterday's The Tower Card I see this as a deep and personal change, no matter what we all must face death in our lives either real death like the loss of a loved one. Or a personal death the deep and changing transformation that death leaves us with. It does us no good running away from something that we will never outrun. Our society fears death so much We try to conquer it, we try to buy us time in the end though death will always win. Today something will end, something will run out, there will be transitions that will need to be dealt with today. Maybe you need to end a relationship, a friendship, a business contract, maybe someone will end something with you. When death comes it is never pleasant at first but usually it is for the best.

Today's Card Of The Day is : The Tower

Today something is going to happen that is going to shake the foundation of our being. This is not necessarily a bad thing, this may mean we get news that shatters the walls we have built such as a pregnancy (a life changing event), or possibly a proposal. Yes no matter if this is a horrible thing such as a death or a sickness- you will not be the same at the end. I pulled this card a lot when I was growing up and overtime grew to hate it's arrival-I am a little more mature now that the period has come to an end. This may also relate to a release of energy or a situation. This can also mean a revelation- no matter what happens today be ready because as I said before nothing stays the same when the Tower comes to stay.

Today's Card Of The Day is: Queen of Swords

Today the Queen of Swords joins us. What a haunting card, these spirits are banshees- something close to my heart, I was always called a banshee when I was little because I used to scream ALL the time. Banshees would often warn family members of trouble ahead, and when she appears you can bet change is in the air. Lisa says this card means that a female will provide a needed wake up call, she is a powerful speaker and will deliver the truth as you need to hear it. Some other things to consider are now allowing your inner dialog to cause you depression or pain, using your mind today and your communication skills. Today's Card Of The Day Is: Four of Swords

Today we have the four of swords coming in to guide us. Today we being told to take it easy, to take time for ourselves so that we can indeed be ready the next time we must face something. Some of us (myself included) do not allow ourselves to fully relax and regenerate ourselves. We must though it is necessary for our health and well-being! This card the swords can be seen under the snow reminding us that this is only temporary as snow eventually melts and and what was frozen eventually thaws. There will be a temporary relief if the weather is "stormy" but eventually you will be called back.

Today's Card Of The Day is: Eight Of Cups

Today we have the suit of cups ruler of emotions, relationships, our intuition- directed by the element of water and direction is west. We in our area are entering the season of fall which is ruled by water! Today we need to look at the deeper meaning of things that are around us, we need to go within. I foresaw this card this morning but in a different way- for me this card is about the season of fall, it's about moving on, preparing to look deep within us, fall always leaves us with a sense of dread because we know that winter is to follow. It is within our genes, our genetic code to worry when winter comes, will we have enough to survive? This card speaks also about arrogance and breaking away of tried traditions for the sake of pride- in the long run costing us much more than would have been needed in the first place. As we enter the holiday season we must remember our roots. Lisa says this card is about treading water, we need to break away from entrapment and allowing ourselves to be free. We are tired, burnt out, and We have given up, we feel that we have come to the end of our road and no matter what specter holds beautiful things in front of us, we just can not go another step. Today I am reading with my new deck ( I couldn't resist!!!). What a great card for today too, we are due for an adventure and boy can I feel it. This past weekend was an adventure for me, I went somewhere I hadn't been. I love this deck because it shares a little story about each card- I am not going to spoil the fun you are going to have to go out and buy the deck so you can read each story, but this card is Hawaiian and the story of Hiku... today we are being lowered into the abyss, our subconscious, an adventure to come out with inspiration.
