Ace of pentacles is a fantastic and much needed card for most of us today; this card speaks of stepping into our prosperity. A new opportunity to reach our personal goals including, prosperity, money, home and security and more! I love to see this card because it speaks of fresh air coming into our material lives. Today we need to focus on the practical doing aspect of things, today isn't a day to be lead by emotions, or even spend all our time planning and thinking. Today we need to DO, something anything to bring our goals that much closer to reality! Network, do some hands on training, sit down and paint or draw, write that blog/book, schedule that meeting, whatever it is that you have been thinking about now is the time to do it. Today we need to focus on the details of our life (home, house, finance, family, our craft, etc) This woman has a combination of book smarts, esoteric or occult smarts, to help her with her craft of these beautiful pentacles. She's got her head/eyes close to her work paying attention to each and every detail of her work- be diligent today. Perhaps if you need to work on furthering your education in a specific area. Today we are joined by the card two of pentacles. This is a card about finding balance. No matter what your state is right now, how choppy the waters are behind you (I love imagery) you need to stand on solid ground to make decisions related to home, house, finance, family etc.... Find balance between work, play, finances, shopping, house, home, kids, free time. This card is also about fun making time for fun and play, doing something you enjoy and something that brings a smile to your face. The first thing I notice about this interesting card is the keys a moon and a sun key. Which speak to me about balance of night and day, and the corresponding forces within us. Today we need to focus on furthering our education and learning when it comes to spiritual matters. This card is also about patience and handling pressing issues maybe legal. It is also about settling disputes that may be related to our spiritual partnerships. Card Of The Day: The Tower

Today we are joined by the not so pleasant Tower card, however, no card is inherently bad. This card though the meaning is less than favorable today this card is telling me that change is afoot. This is a complete uprooting of the previous situation we were going through. Maybe a marriage is ending for the better, or we are loosing our job which will open doors for new job opportunities down the line such as our dream job! Whatever we are going through right now is about to be completely torn down to be rebuilt into something new and amazing!  

I have quite a bit of past with this card, and I can say though at the time the lessons this card may bring is painful and not so pleasant in the long run its energy brought about the required shift in my own self to cause a major life change for the better!

The kings counterpart has come to join us today, The Queen of pentacles message is: Today we need focus on all this queens attributes she is loyal, nurturing, steadfast but kind, homely, and resourceful. We may be faced with some situations today that require us to adapt and adopt some of her amazingly awesome attributes. She's a romantic at heart she is the one who will have dinner made and on the table, candles ablaze, a fresh set of red roses on the table and a glass of wine for her husband every night- if there are kids the house will be tidy and everything including the kids will be in order. Card Of The Day: King Of Pentacles

The King sits upon his throne joins us today reminding us about our finances and our security. Maybe we have fallen into the spirit of lack and feel we do not have what we need, the king has come to remind us we have much, or maybe we are without and the king has come to tell us that we will soon receive what we need. The king is just, the king is fair, he will not be swayed by emotions, or fighting alone he needs practical reasons why to give you want you want. He is a good homemaker, provider, and hardworker for himself and his family, it would be wise to choose this person as a mate or to remind this mate that you love and appreciate him. Do not expect bellowing emotional responses though from this man he's quite controlled and expects others to be as well. I am happy to see he has graced us today he brings us good things and good messages thank you!

Today's card of the day is: Solar Plexus Chakra 

Today we are joined again by a chakra telling us to focus our energy on this magickal power center in our body! This chakra rules our self-esteem and self worth, maybe something happened that is making us feel less than adequate today or maybe in general we just aren't feeling like we're the bomb, we'll guess what YOU ARE! YOU ROCK! YAY! You have a choice you always will on how you want your life to unfold how you want to be! You need to work on building up your confidence to see that you are an awesome soul- it's what's inside that matters, not the outside as our society would have us believe- sure looks have a little to do with it but at the end of the day it's what is inside that truly matters. I am sending each and everyone of you an extra dose of love today so that you may realize just how awesome you are!

Today's Card Of The Day is: Temptation 

Today we are going to have to make a choice between what we know is right, and what we may be tempted to do. The most interesting thing about this card is that if we wanted too we could get out of whatever situation we find ourselves in that is causing us inner turmoil and unrest if we just do something. We are the ones keeping ourselves in a state of mental unrest and unhappiness- we can break ourselves out of the chains that bind us it is going to take strength though- today look at the strength card and see if that imagery can be helpful to you on your journey. Today's Card of The Day is: Disruption 

Today we have a more serious card joining us today, this card is telling us that we are about to go through something that is going to give us either set backs, a change or complete reworking of where we are/ want to be. This isn't necessarily a bad card- as I do not believe there are bad cards in the tarot- this is a life change something that is going to tear apart what we have built in our minds as true, and shake up our minds a bit. Yup this card is The Tower- but in this card it's Disruption, and I happen to like it's meaning and imagery a bit better than I like what the traditional tarot has come to mean. We are going to get ripped apart and then have to put ourselves back together- be prepared- but also know this isn't an inherently horrible thing, it's all about our perception of whatever events lead to this.....

Today's Card Of The Day is: Awareness 

Today we are joined by number one of the major arcana commonly known as The Fool or in this case awareness. Like the fool who is just starting off on our journey so does the idea of awareness, before we were unaware and now we are - about something- a new way of thinking, a new way of living,  a new mode of feeling, a new opportunity...  Either way before we did not know about this and now we do, this isn't just outwardly bound this is spirit inspired by the light and circle around his crown chakra, this is spirit opening a door for us saying "pay attention!" so today be sure to pay attention to spirit. Expect the start of a new way of thinking or new opportunity.

Today's Card Of The Day is Hope, hope is a wonderful card for us, something we all could use. If you have been feeling like why bother? Today spirit passes us the greatest gift of all- HOPE. We can do anything if we have hope or faith! This card shows me maybe someone else comes to give you a sliver of hope or it's given by spirit. Graciously accept it, don't shoot it down- understand that all emotions are necessary for a balanced being but dwelling on just one all the time is unhealthy. Today's Card Of The Day is: Sacral Chakra

Today I used the Psychic Tarot which is a favorite deck of mine, but this deck doesn't have all the traditional cards in it. Today the Sacral Chakra is highlighted telling me that we need to focus on our emotional self and our ability to feel- or maybe feeling too much... It's also about confidence and self worth- some of us may be feeling exceptionally down today- or on the flip side a bit arrogant. Either way this chakra is asking us to pay special attention there is an imbalance here for some of us.

Today's Card of The Day is: Shadow

Today we are using the Psychic Tarot by John Holland. The shadow card is akin to the Moon card in the traditional Rider Waite tarot. Today things aren't as they seem, there is an undertone of being kept in the dark about something, yet there is also the intuitive aspect heightened as well. Don't ignore your intuitive side but remember a good dose of mental intellect will do you good too. Today balance both parts as they are vital to making the best most positive choices here! We also have to think and focus on our dark side as well, we need to be sure our fears and ego don't run the show!

Card of The Day 8/11

Today's Card of The Day: Six of Cups

Today is another day about reminiscing on the past, thinking back to what was instead of what is right now. Maybe we are remembering the past much different than it actually happened? Either way the past served to make up part of who we are but the ultimate teller of who/what we are is our own CHOICE, we have the choice always on how to be and how to act. This is not a bad card and sometimes it does well to go back and reflect but it's not okay to live in the past instead of the current- and it does us no good to live in the future either. Today if you find yourself getting sucked into the past try to gently bring yourself back to the present. Those of us who have kids today also has to do with them focus on them and work on making their "past" something worth remembering. If you remember something negative your parents did when you were growing up try to the opposite so you provide them with pleasant happy memories so when they look back they look back fondly themselves! Be the parent you wish you had growing up.

Today's Card of The Day is: 

Knight Of Cups & King of Pentacles 

As I was shuffling another card FLEW from the deck so we got two cards to read today. Two messages for us to think about. The Knight of Cups is going to bring us a message today about love, emotions, and romance. This is a sensitive person a musician, poet, artist. The message I am getting from this card is today we may need to do some bending in order to keep our emotions in check, not everything is linear and straight forward, sometimes there is something deeper. King of Pentacles, this is a person almost completely oppose from the knight of cups, two separate world these two live- right brain and left brain. King of pentacles is the highest in his suit he is the adept, practical, reliable, enterprising and his message to me today is prosperity must be seen from within, if you don't open your eyes to see just how much you do have you will always feel without. Two separate cards speak to me about balance between the mundane and the spiritual.

Today's Card Of The Day is: Six Of Swords

Today's card of the day doesn't quite fit the energy I am sensing for myself, but I suppose in some ways it's quite accurate. Today is all about moving on and moving forward out of trouble waters of the mind to calmer more peaceful area's of being. Today we are moving towards a Zen Like state- I like this card and the Rider-Waite card because the imagery tells me we aren't doing this alone we have a partner. Sometimes all we need is a companion to help us get back on track. Beyond this meaning there are other meanings to this card which become apparent when more than one card is drawn, these are: moving or changing locations, feeling down and out moving into depression.

Today's Card of The Day is: The 7 of Cups 

The 7 of cups has been visiting me quite a bit these last few days in my personal readings. Today we have choices to make, each one is a major or important thing in our lives. The different cups in the clouds, hold different things (in the rider deck) a house, jewels/money, religious/spiritual artifacts, etc. Today we need to choose what we are going to focus on, this card to me means we have so many choices we don't know what to look at- the best thing is to pick with the heart, which would make you the most emotionally fulfilled? This is also a card of day dreaming, fantasies and wishful thinking. While it's great to have some day dreams and fantasy's we can't allow them to rule our life. Today we need to focus on ONE thing, and go with it- do something concrete and physical to make your dreams a reality whatever they are, it doesn't need to be big either just something.

Today we are joined by the Knight of Swords, we need to be acting today with pure intellect and less emotions. We need to be direct and not beat around the bush. Today we need to be confident and bold and know that the choices and decisions we are making are for the best. Rely less on our emotions and intuitive side and more on our intellectual side through learning, reason and logic. This is a good card for describing Capricorns- I tend to see them as the masters of logic and reason. As we move through today and are faced with choices and decisions and everyday issues lets call on the Knight of Swords to help us.

The Hierophant joins us today, speaking to us about our spirituality- our religion whatever that may be. Maybe some of us are letting our religious practice fall to the wayside due to summer, this card is reminding us to not let our spiritual practices and studies suffer! Take a moment each day and connect with your divine self and the divine expression you work with. This card also means learning about your divine path, if you are just starting out then you should continue to study, if you are seasoned then its a message to "sharpen up" find a new book or talk to someone who is older who may be able to deepen your understanding of your path.

Today's Card of the Day is: Mental Conflict 

Today we are joined by not one of the best cards in the deck but for the hour or so I have been awake I can already see this manifesting in some of my friends and family members. Today we are stuck in a mental battle against ourselves, we are indecisive choosing to be in self pitty and depression. Today you are fighting with no one but yourself, so if you find yourself in a quarrel with another person sit back and really take stock if you are fighting with yourself or someone else, chances are in this case you are fighting with yourself. Only you're in charge of how your day goes, if you are in a bad place that is because either you believe that is all you deserve or t hat is what you are allowing today. I hope that my friends and readers choose happiness today over indecision, mental anguish, and depression. Sending extra big hugs.

Card Of The Day 8/3

Today's Card of The Day is: Garnet

Today I decided to do something different, I purchased the Crystal Messages from the Crystal Kids about 3 years ago or so and used it for sometime and then it disappeared, I found it the other day and it patiently sat there looking at me saying "use me!" today I have.

Garnet is a beautiful deep red stone (though sometimes it can be other colors such as green- grossular garnet) which aligns to the root chakra its about health, surrender, responsibilities, and commitment. This card is asking if we give up too soon- sometimes we need to surrender and let someone else take the reins for a little while, maybe it's not even a person but spirit. Do you trust that your higher power/God/Divine has a plan for you? If you stay focused on your goals and always keep them in mind when making choices and decisions then you can't fail. Shoot for the stars!

Garnet can help you- that I believe, I like messages that have something tangible to work with and these cards are just that, wear the stone, hold it in your hand if you have a loose piece, print out a picture or spend time looking at specimens on the internet call garnets energy into your life so that you can have it's power affect you.

Today we are joined by the six of cups, this card is a card of nostalgia- are we focusing on the past instead of the present the NOW? It's also a bit deeper than just that. It's about bringing beauty in an a bleak and dismal life/situation. It's also about childhood or just plain innocence of heart. Its about helping someone out to brighten their day, no a mutual brightening of ones day- you both will be rewarded. This is an innocent card and it's come to me in the past when someone wants nothing more than to see you happy, to smile, but maybe not with the intention that we are thinking. This is not a soul mate card or a serious love affair card, this is a true friends "I care about your happiness and I am going to do something to make you happy" card its also innocent and a bit juvenile. I can't ignore the other meaning of this card though, today focus on the kids in your life the young adults they are our future!

Today's Card Of The Day: Page of Pentacles

Today the page of pentacles has joined us and usually when the court cards (pages, knights,queens,kings) comes to call I think of the certain players in our lives (friends, lovers, family, etc)- or a specific trait or personality we should foster within ourselves that this court cards energy holds. 

The pages are about messengers of their perspective suit so for this we are going to hear a message about money, finances, or stability. The pages usually are someone younger than us but may have an "older" disposition about them- especially in the suit of the pentacles. Someone who is mature for their age focusing on the more practical side of life. Today is about practicality- using logic and reason over emotions, or being air headed, or just plain driven by will alone. Page of pentacles is also about being trustworthy/trusting, and enjoying the fruits of your labor. So for my friends out there having money problems maybe today you could spend some time with this lovely lady pictured in this card and see if she has a message for you about your money and where you need to be or what you need to do. Or maybe some of you have some issues with trusting and being trusted she can help there too. I have to say the sign for this card would have to be Capricorn so if you have any Capricorn friends- give em a call and see if their practical nature can lend you a helping hand today.
